Bungoma County Government
Duties and Responsibilities
a) Deputizing for the County Secretary during his absence.
b) Receiving official County Government correspondence.
c) Planning and coordination of meetings
d) Liaison activities between the County Secretary’s office and other departments.
e) Coordinating and managing Logistics for County forums.
f) Any other duty as may be assigned by the County Secretary from time to time.
Requirements for the appointment for appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-
a) Have a Bachelors Degree in Administration or in any other relevant field from a recognized University in Kenya.
b) Be in possession of a Masters degree in either strategic management, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent qualifications from a University recognized In Kenya;
c) Have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than ten (10) years in Public or Private sector.
d) Demonstrate a high degree of professional and technical competence as reflected in work performance and results.
e) Have a thorough understanding of devolution, the County Development objectives and Vision 2030.
f) Be a strategic thinker and result oriented.
g) Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity. h) Be computer literate.
