Duties and responsibilities:


a) Assist to ensure all government attractive programmes are coordinated and implemented effectively in all departments and sub-counties;

b) Assist to ensure that intergovernmental administrative issues are handled effectively and promptly;

c) Liaison and or management of the disaster management taskforce activities;

d) Facilitate training and staff development functions for staff in the department and

e) Analyze effectiveness of policies, rules and regulations in the county.

Requirements for the appointment for appointment to this grade, a candidate must:


a) Be a Kenyan Citizen;

b) Have at least a minimum relevant work experience of ten (10) years in Administration three (3) years of which at the level of Assistant Director Administration JG “P” and a above OR in a relevant and equivalent position either in the Public Service or Private Sector;

c) Have a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

d) Have a Masters Degree in Social Science or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;

e) Attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

f) Have demonstrated managerial, administrative, and professional competence in work performance;

g) Have clearance from HELB and

h) Meet requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010
