Bungoma County Government

Duties will include:-

a) The development of policies and plans;

b) Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;

c) The provision and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of Public Service Board

d) Exercise any function and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under Section 86 of the County Governments Act 2012;

e) Facilitation and coordination of citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services;

f) Coordinating the management and supervision of the general administrative functions;

g) Ensure effective service delivery and h) Ensuring compliance with the National Values and Principles of good governance as outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the constitution of Kenya.

Requirements for the appointment;


) Be a Kenyan citizen;

b) Be a holder of a bachelor’s degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

c) Have a working experience of not less than 10 years three (3) years of which at Job Group ‘P’ or its equivalent;

d) Have attended a Strategic Leadership Development Course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution;

e) Have qualifications and experience in administration or management;

f) Satisfied the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution;

g) Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the Values and Principles as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the constitution of Kenya and

h) Be computer literate.
