Sales Manager – Protective Coatings

Jotun is growing fast all over the MEIA region (Middle East, India and Africa), and Jotun established its presence in the Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA) region in 1974, with Jotun UAE Ltd. Ever since, Jotun has expanded its operations throughout the region to include 14 legal entities and activities in more than 41 countries, serving the local markets with decorative, protective, marine and powder coatings segments. With manufacturing facilities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt and India, Jotun is the first paint manufacturer to be awarded the ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification. You will be responsible for managing and leading the Protective Coatings and Marine Department by planning, executing and monitoring sales objectives and collection to achieve sales budgets, improve customer relationships, profitability and increased market share.

You will be based in Nairobi and reporting to our Country Manager – Kenya.

Plan, manage and monitor sales objectives, Gross Margin, Days of Outstanding Sales (DSO) and payment collection by constant follow up with customers to ensure implementation.
Develop and enhance technical service support by managing the technical service team of sales target and ensure profitability and increase of market share.
Secure industrial projects by constant follow up on periodical project report and order books to ensure that projects are secured for Jotun.
Prepare sales budgets, generate sales report and conduct sales analysis.

College / University, Master’s degree

You have 4-6 years of experience in similar fields
You have an experience in a managerial position
You have an experience with paints industry
