Job Description


(i) Implementing and interpreting Human Resource strategies, policies, rules and regulations;

(ii) Coordinating human resource and organizational succession planning;

(iii) Organizing recruitment and, processing appointments and employee on-boarding;

(iv) Coordinating implementation of compensation and reward policies:

(v) Coordinating payroll and employee benefits administration;

(vi) Coordinating employee performance management system;

(vii) Coordinating corporate and individual employee Training Needs Analysis and developing Annual Training Plans;

(viii) Managing the human resource information system;

(ix) Developing and implementing annual and semi-annual Departmental work plans and budget;

(x) Managing employee relations and processing of staff disciplinary cases for compliance with Labour Laws;

(xi) Developing and implementing Employee Assistance strategies and programmes;

(xii) Supervising, guiding, training and development of staff under him/her.

Required Functional Skills:-


For appointment to this position, an officer must:-

• Served in the grade of Senior Human Resource Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years or nine (9) in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;

• Bachelor’s degree in either of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Relations, Business Administration (Human Resource Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
