Job Description

Quavatel Limited is a company with headquarters in Kenya. Quavatel is focused on building the required infrastructure that enables individuals; businesses and communities access the Internet.

To this end, Quavatel provides a Turn-key optical fiber network deployment and undertakes the construction of the infrastructure projects for service providers to the public, Government institutions building network infrastructure for their own use or the public, as well as, enterprises building their own networks.

We wish to identify: highly competent, proactive and self-driven individuals who can work anywhere in Kenya, to fill the below position

Human Resource Manager

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer the position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human resources policies, programs, and practices

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Organizational development to express new company brand and strategic plan

· Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans

· Staff selection, recruitment and staffing management; mentoring & Coaching.

· Budget management through optimization of resources.

· Staff Performance management and improvement systems, training and development.

· Policy update, development and documentation

· Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; staff team building activities

· Compensation and benefits administration System; Staff job evaluation

· Administration and logistical Support; Manage and provide analyzed reports from biometric system.

· Advice management Labour laws and relations

· Monitor scheduled absences such as leave or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of Services.

· Administers performance review program through appraisals to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.

· Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

Qualifications:

· Under graduate degree in Human Resource Management. MBA will be an added advantage.

• A minimum of 6years’ working experience in a similar capacity.

• Age between 32 to 38 years.

• Must have excellent computer skills including the ability to operate spread sheets and word processing

• Good interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate and cooperate with everyone.
