Diploma or Degree in Tourism related field.
Sales qualifications is desirable though not a must.
Knowledge of ticketing or reservations software (Tourplan experience a plus).
Over 5 years progressive hands on experience in a busy tour company handling non-resident clients, ideally KATO category A company.
Spanish Sales Consultant main role is to ensure all inquiries received via email or phone from agents and direct clients are handled in a timely and professional manner and converted into confirmed sales. To ensure that all services are booked accurately so clients are delighted by their safari and when needed to assist in resolving client problems by performing the following duties:-
Booking holiday and safari packages for customers.
Meeting sales targets as set out by the Company.
Responding to all emails promptly with a 12-hour turnaround time on Kenyan safari enquiries and a 24-hour turnaround on East African enquiries.
