Job Description

Our client, a dynamic and fast growing Manufacturer and Distributor of Home Furniture and Mattresses is looking to recruit a Manager to be in charge of Sales.

The ideal candidate MUST have experience in Modern Trade, Distribution, Retail Market and have come up with strategies for Market expansion. The successful candidate must also be a natural sales person, analytical with B2B and B2C experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Propose and lead the implementation of out-of-the-box marketing ideas to drive increased market penetration of existing products lines.
Directly manage the relationship with key accounts in the portfolio guaranteeing high level of satisfaction and increased sales volumes.
Conduct market research and offer recommendations about new products and/or designs to resources and introduce in the market.
Closely monitor market trends and competitive landscape to define pricing strategy for each product category.
Work with management to design & implement ideas and strategies to introduce new product lines.
Support penetration into new markets.
Regularly update products weekly consumption – keeping in mind previous stock out, seasonality and market trends.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent relevant field.
Must have over 10 years of experience with at least 5 years at senior sales position
Must apply with a detailed C.V. Indicating key accomplishment.
Must be willing to work in the non – structured environment.
Must have previous experience in supporting Organisations in Market Analysis & Research.
Must have a track record of achievement in growing a company’s portfolio.
Must have ability to manage key customers’ relationships in another organization.
Must have an entrepreneurial streak and have drawn energy from working in a young company.
Have experience developing and implementing management systems within an organization.
Must possess a strong analytical toolkit, and frequently apply quantitative analysis to decision-making.

Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 350,000 – 400,000/= (Approx. 3,500 – 4,000 USD) depending on skills and experience.
