The Human Resource Director will drive organizational strategy for all matters related to Human resource in the Organisation East Africa offices. The ideal candidate Must have prior experience in the NGO or the Hospitality Sector.
Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in with the business plan.
Effectively plan, design develop and evaluate HR related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals.
Take a leadership role in developing a culture that enables employees to perform and bring the organisation to achieving set objectives and expectations.
Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs and oversee the HR Budget.
Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the company.
Coordinates all Human Resources training programs.
Provides talent acquisition / recruiting services.
Ensure company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resources, Social Sciences or Arts.
Master Degree is an added advantage.
Must have over 10 years’ experience with 5 years being in Senior Management.
Must have prior experience working in the NGO or Hospitality Sector.
Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills set with a team player mentality.
Consistent ability to show sound judgement, discretion and integrity.
Ability to challenge the status quo to improve results.
Ability to drive tactics and objectives from ideation to execution independently.
Thrives in a fast paced environment.
Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
Must experience in a difficult blue collar labour intensive environments.
Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh.300, 000 – 350,000/=Gross (Approx. 3,000 – 3,500 USD) depending on skills and experience
Position Level: Upper Mid – Level.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
