POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Role Purpose: This position is responsible for the effective management of the Human Resource & Administration functions in the organization.
Develop and implement annual HR plans in line with business strategy and manage HR budget.
Provide strong leadership in developing an enabling culture that will spur employee engagement, performance and drive business growth.
In charge of planning, design and implementation of pragmatic HR programmes in accordance with organization strategic plan
Manage talent acquisition and provide recruitment services including designing on-boarding programmes in accordance with approved organization requirements.
Prepare and coordinate all staff training and development programmes aimed at building a learning organization.
Manage and administer staff compensation and benefits including payroll management, staff enrolment and withdrawal in various benefits schemes in accordance with company policy.
Oversee the implementation and adherence to sound performance management and reward systems
Handle all HR Polices development, implementation and documentation as well as interpretation and communication to staff accordingly
Manage all disciplinary and grievance matters timeously and in adherence to appropriate labour laws
Manage employee communication and feedback processes/forums
Administer all staff exit interviews and clearance procedures.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in Human Resources Management /Social Sciences is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree, with professional qualifications in Human Resource Management/Social Sciences.
Specialized professional training in Human Resources Management practice i.e. CHRP/HD – HRM certification
Possess practical knowledge, understanding and application of Kenya labour laws
High ICT competency level and preferably in the implementation and use of Excel, PowerPoint and HRMIS
Have 3 – 5 years of relevant hands-on experiences in generalist Human Resource Management and/or Human Resources business partner roles
Must hold a current IHRM practising certificate
Demonstrated ability to serve as a reliable and strategic resource to executive management
Good personal discipline, sound judgement, good public relations, reliable, adaptable to new challenges;
Excellent HR administration and organizational skills;
Proven team player, good inter-personal skills, and ability to build personal and impartial relationships in the workplace.
Ability to analyse data and make strategic recommendations and decision making.
Possess strong communication and presentation skills.
Change Management experience
Proven leadership skills and result oriented.
Unquestionable confidentiality and integrity
Good time management skills
