Year 1 Teacher (I.G.C.S.E System) – Tatu City.
The school has proven excellence, particularly on the academic and leadership front, with a British Curriculum – IGCSE system set-up for both local and International students. The ideal candidate must be passionate about toddlers & young children and with proven ability to teach ALL subjects in a Year 1 class and with substantial experience in a British Curriculum teaching school.
Create lesson plans for all subjects in the class based on your experience and the pupils’ specific needs.
Provide a student-focused learning for the students in ALL subjects.
Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concerns and questions.
Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour.
Encourage creativity in students by organizing art and craft projects on a daily basis.
Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom.
Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible.
Help the children learn about the chosen topics in a playful and colourful way.
MUST be passionate about toddlers & young children and show bubbly personality.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
P1 teachers with IGCSE experience are also encouraged to apply.
Must be registered with T.S.C.
Must have a Kenyan Certificate of Good Conduct.
Must have 5 years of experience in a multi-cultural I.G.C.S.E learning set-up.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must express the ability to teach creatively with high presentation skills.
Candidates with International experience will have an added advantage.
Monthly Gross Salary: Open depending on skills and experience.
Position Level: Upper Mid-Level.
