Position Reports to: PR, Brand and Marketing Manager
Oversee the Home Afrika online marketing strategy by planning and executing digital (including email) marketing campaigns and design, maintain and supply content for the organization’s website and social media channels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
The job holder’s duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.
Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters and material for social media channels.
Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
Manage and maintain the organisation’s website.
Produce new content for our products, constantly innovating to push new ideas and formats and measuring how well those ideas perform.
Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports.
Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion.
Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website.
Edit and post videos and content to online sites.
Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management.
Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments.
Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
The job holder must possess:
Undergraduate degree in marketing from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years in digital communication and marketing. Experience in graphic design is an added advantage.
