Job Description

Physical Education Teacher – Preparatory School.

The Teacher will join in September 2018.

The school has proven excellence, particularly on the academic and leadership front, with a British Curriculum – IGCSE system set-up for children between 6 – 13 years. The ideal candidate must be passionate about toddlers & young children, willing to work in a non-traditional environment that enable children to take responsibility for their own learning through deciding and voting for themes that become their curriculum. He/she MUST naturally love kids and be willing and able to support them 100%.

Key Responsibilities:

Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the pupils’ specific needs.
Promote aspects of Personal Development related to P.E.
Ensure a high-quality learning environment within the P.E area.
To encourage a healthy lifestyle for pupils and staff at the school.
Updating professional expertise appropriate to P.E learning through creativity.
Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about pupils’ progress and behaviour.
Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible.
Be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in P.E.


MUST be passionate about toddlers & young children and show bubbly personality.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
Must be registered with T.S.C.
Must have a Kenyan Certificate of Good Conduct.
Must have 5 years of experience in a multi-cultural Montessori learning set-up.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must express the ability to teach creatively with high presentation skills.
Candidates with background in P.E and additional line of subject are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with International experience will have an added advantage.

Monthly Gross Salary: Open depending on skills and experience.
