Xtranet Communications seeks to recruit a Corporate Sales Manager to handle business development and sales for our Broadband, Security, IT and Software products and services portfolio as per the attached job profile.

This sales position calls for an individual that is well versed in Sales and Sales Management in the corporate sector in an IT or related industry. The candidate should also be able and willing to research, learn about and assist in the development of ICT solutions with the aim of ever expanding the company’s solution portfolio.

The Corporate Sales Manager: will have to achieve the following RESPONSIBILITIES.

Own and surpass the corporate revenue and margin targets.
Recruit, train and supervise the corporate sales team for performance.
Sales Funnel management, negotiation and closing of deals for Corporate sector
Respond to tenders and RFQs, Order processing on time and with diligence
Maintain an up to date record of meetings, calls, tenders and opportunities in the automated CRM system on a daily basis.
Ensure each team member meet a certain minimum target achievement
Create and follow through on sales leads within the Corporate Sector.
Build a robust base of recurring revenue from broadband, cloud and maintenance services
Protect the company resources through due diligence and credit vetting for new clients
Upsell and cross-sell to ensure repeat and sticky customers
Build relationships with existing clients from supplier to business partner.
Contribute to the marketing efforts, promotions and customer engagements
Identify new product and service that can be consumed profitably by the corporate sector
Post-sales corporate account management to ensure we have happy customers.
Contribute to the growth of the sales team by bringing in new products and team members.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the management.

The representative must have the following QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES.

Minimum of 5 years in a successful sales role in a related industry.
New Business Acquisition: Ability to aggressively identify opportunities in new or existing accounts, expanding business in a way that ensures profitability for Xtranet
Excellent Communication and presentation skills
High energy with strong initiative with unquestionable reliability and follow-through, self-directed and organized.
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to manage a team and diverse clients
History of selling Broadband, Security or ICT sales and solutions under corporate.
Fast learner that can adapt to all the product and solutions that Xtranet sells.
University graduate with a degree in, Sales and marketing or ICT
Aggressive in Leadership and team spirit aspects for growth and target achievement.
Knowledge or the ability to learn and adopt a strategic sales methodology


The Corporate Sales Manager will be expected to prospect for opportunities within the corporate sector base for organizations who may need Broadband, Security, IT and Software solutions. This will be done by the candidate on their own and through with the team. The ideal candidate should have a well proven methodology of prospecting and will be expected to generate a steady stream of new prospects continuously.

The Corporate Sales Manager will be expected to go for meetings on a regular basis to present the portfolio of any service or solution needed to a technical audience with the help of the presales team. To this end the Manager must be competent in the various customer approach aspects, application of the service or solution and the benefits thereof.

The Corporate Sales Manager will be expected to propose the most appropriate solution with the help of the technical team to provide the ideal solution for the prospective client. The manager should therefore exhibit a high level of teamwork with colleagues in generating creative solutions to customer problems or issues.

The Corporate Manager should be able to generate proposals and quotations for the solutions for interested prospective customers. The Corporate Sales Manager should be familiar with MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel and be able to produce quality documents to articulate the solutions in clear, neat language and presentation.

The Corporate Sales Manager is expected to negotiate and close business transactions on behalf of the company exceeding the set targets. The candidate should have the ability of pricing and negotiation to arrive at a win-win deal with clients on a consistent basis.

The Corporate Manager is expected to lead a team under the corporate sector on prospecting, product championing and deal closure within the team. Track and monitor reports for the team on a timely manner in the prescribed format for ease of decision making.

The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, assigning targets, training, supervising and disciplining the team for optimal performance on a consistent basis.

The Corporate Sales Manager should be able to vet new customers for credit appraisal.
