The Senior Compliance officer must have the ability to analyse situations for compliance and business risk, and implement solutions to address and mitigate such risk and must have Training in ISO 9001:2015
Review, maintain, and update the Group’s statutory returns except financial returns.
Develop, maintain, and update the Group’s compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct employee training with respect to the compliance program.
Conduct the annual review of the Group’s policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments; recommend risk mitigation techniques and controls.
Coordinate external statutory audits and follow up to ensure all recommendations are implemented.
Manage the group’s certification processes to ensure that all certification requirements are adhered to.
Maintain a database of all licenses and contracts and ensure timely renewal
Monitor new legal and regulatory developments and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Manage the insurance docket of the Group.
Carry out compliance audits under the guidance of the Group Compliance Manager
Manage the Whistle-blower programme.
Initiate and implement the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification programme.
Must have a degree in Finance or Business related field.
Must be trained in ISO 9001:2015.
Must have a minimum of 5 years in a professional Compliance function.
Must have working knowledge of ACL, or equivalent data mining software.
Must possess a high moral character and professional integrity.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and highly accurate.
Strong management & leadership abilities.
Must have Business process and risk analysis techniques.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 250,000 – 300,000/= (Approx. 2500 – 3000 USD) depending on experience.
