Our client is in the hospitality business with four (4) hotel units operating across the country ranging from a 3-star budget business hotel to a 5-star luxury camp.
They are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and self-driven professional to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
Reporting to the General Manager, the ICT Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company information system are up to date, fully operational at all times and that employees have the skills needed to have them.
Monitoring Hardware utilization and performance on an on-going basis and identifying procurement needs
Scheduling and implementing preventative hardware maintenance activities and co-ordinating repairs in response to hardware failures
Implementing approved system security procedures, maintaining and updating existing Network configuration records, log change request, providing access to authorized users and conducting period tests to confirm compliance
Carrying out monthly system Audits and providing reports (both Micros and Opera)
Adhering to and implementing Network maintenance schedule
Troubleshooting and diagnosing system errors and implementing solution or liaise with specialists for problem solutions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
System and Network Administration Certification
3 Years experience
Experience with Windows Servers
Knowledge of Opera Systems, Micros Fidelio, Material controls and Sun systems software
