A thriving manufacturing concern urgently seeks to recruit for the position of QUALITY SUPERVISOR

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
Experience Level: Mid level
Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description

Supervise Technicians on all shifts.
Drive improvements in shop floor quality control processes and procedures
Develop and improve the plant quality organization’s ability to perform complex problem solving to more effectively address customer complaints, service deviations and internal corrective actions.
Lead quality improvement and cost reduction projects like waste and loss reduction.
Develop team based problem solving to drive improvement.
Generate reports and data analysis as required.
Provide support to the Sales Team on Customer Issue Resolution and the presentation of Quality Metrics.
Assist to develop and confirm methods for reprocessing of assigned devices
Write verification and validation documentation and conduct required testing as needed.
Perform testing and inspection functions and root cause analysis
Assist regulatory compliance efforts and verification and documentation related to engineering standards
Author, revise, train, and provide support for production work instructions.
Identify new processing needs and perform continuous improvement to support sustaining efforts
Lead and facilitate process improvement activities
Role may include project and team management responsibilities
Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

Job Qualifications

Degree or Diploma from a recognised Technical University/College
Two(2) years experience
Proven experience as quality supervisor
Conscientious and responsible
A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office
In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
