Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketing Specialist to contribute in creating the company image and generate new sales over telephone campaigns.

You will be responsible for creating the best image of Dremmwel Africa, for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships, as well as develop media content and manage the company image and promotion via Digital Media tools.

An effective telemarketing representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.

The Telemarketing customers will be either Dremmwel (internal mission), or external customers of the company with specific goals and results to achieve within a given mission budget to achieve via telesales scripts and calls.

The goal is to help our customers grow by bringing them leads and business development or use telesales skills to develop Dremmwel business under the management of the Business Development Director, using Telesales technics and Digital Media tools.

The successful candidate will become our team leader over time and manage other inside Sales reps.

Key Responsibilities

Participate to telesales mission definition, products or solutions training, and customers telemarketing campaigns proposals

Analyse and define accurate telesales script for each mission, either internal (Dremmwel development) or external (Dremmwel customer contract)

Contact potential or existing potential buyers to inform them about a product or service using scripts

Answer questions about products or the company (either Dremmwel or External customers)

Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales eventually

Direct prospects to the field sales team (internal or external) when needed

Enter and update customer information in the database, prepare reports for Dremmwel customers and participate to meetings when needed.

Take and process orders in an accurate manner where appropriate

Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation

Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales

Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Develop a Digital Media presence for Dremmwel Africa and publish regular information and promotion to the East African community

Create and propose promotion campaigns and communication to Dremmwel general management and overlook the execution of events and actions

Potential to become our future team leader for inside sales and marketing


Proven experience 1-3 years as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role

Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

Practical knowledge of base It tools (Spreadsheets), CRM software and telephone systems

Practical usage of Digital media tools, like facebook, Blogs, Twitts and other local media highly desirable


High school diploma; BSc/BA will be a plus, Kenyan University a plus

Knowledge of French will be a plus (any other language could be of interest)

Excellent knowledge of English and Swahili (spoken and written)

Knowledge of base It tools (Spreadsheets), CRM software and telephone systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection

Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

Ability to learn fast about IT products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
