Duties and Responsibilities

v Manage and support WRRS livelihood activities implementation

v Create and implement professional development plan for all direct reports

v Ensure coordination between the implementing team and other stakeholders

v Ensure the project meets grants requirement including time frame, resource allocation, scope and risk management.

v Work with project team update and maintain the livelihood project implementation plan

v Collaborate with the project implementation team to make sure project design are based on needs assessment findings (Primary and secondary data and analysis.

v Ensure all the project activities refer to technical standards and consider government and sphere standards and are aligned with internal and external strategic objective

v Ensure that the project activities are developed and implemented with community engagement taking into account local needs.

v Follow up with Accountability to respond to feedback from areas of implementation to strengthen Livelihood sector approach

v Coordinate staffing plans and maintain livelihood staffing structure with support from Operations Manager and P&C

v Collaborate with Finance to review financial reports and maintain accurate spending reports and up-to-date budgets.

v Ensure WRRS is appropriately represented at livelihood focused Working Groups

v Provide input for grant/donor and project milestone and reports to Project

v Establish and implement internal reporting system in coordination with Programs Officer and the Executive Director.

v Provide regular updates to Executive Director and Programs Officer

v Update monthly situation report and Grant performance Tracker.

Education:

v Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Development studies

v Minimum two years’ experience working with Humanitarian projects in conflict areas

v Experience Working with NGOs specifically in Somalia

v Effective in written and verbal communication in English, Somalia Language is an advantage.

v Technical expertise in sustainable livelihoods, local economic development, technical vocations, or related fields

v Should be a Somali National.
