Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies or related field;

Diploma in project management and M&E;

Experience: 3-5 years of programming experience in a grant funded resilience program with a consortium, preferably in a fragile context;

At least 2-3 years of experience in working with the following donors: FAO, EU – DEVCO, SIDA, and DFAT

Proven experience in networking with the EU, FAO, SIDA, DFAT and other donors to bring about funding opportunities;

Demonstrated ability to work with other NGOs in donor reporting and grant acquisition to meet even the tightest deadlines;

Ability to establish and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships;

Excellent report and proposal writing skills

Working Environment

Work environment: Nairobi based

Travel: The position requires frequent travel to Somalia, a dynamic and often insecure context; when in Somalia accommodation is at team houses
